A surfboat crew consists of four rowers and a sweep. Surfboat competitions are held in many divisions including Open, U23, U19 and reserves. Masters events are held in age groups formed by the aggregate of the four rowers.

Surfboat crew members must have a minimum qualification of a Bronze Medallion and must meet the patrol hour requirements to compete.

Currently we are looking to develop our surfboat crews and have been in discussion with LSV on potential courses to assist with accreditation of sweeps within our Club. If you are interested in participating as either a rower or as a sweep, contact Marty (vbslscsurfsport@gmail.com)
